Database Recruitment is designed for clients that are recruiting Thai staff from junior to lower management levels and require a shortlist of candidates within a 5 working day period from the point of the client's authorization.

  • We have both native Thai consultants and locally based Japanese consultants present in both our Bangkok and Eastern Seaboard offices, giving us an in-depth knowledge of your national talent pool. 
  • We ensure every candidate is interviewed by an experienced Recruitment Consultant and tested by a native English and/or Japanese speaker.
  • We interview 1,000 new candidates per month.

  • Database Recruitment works on a success only basis; 
  • there are no up-front costs and the fee structure is highly competitive and in tune with today's marketplace.
  • Our recruitment service fee will be a percentage of the selected candidates' fixed annual income.
  • Payment is due within 14 days of the applicant commencing employment with the client. 
  • Should the accepted candidate cease employment for whatever reason within three months, PRTR will reactivate the assignment (one time only) without additional fees.

Japanese Professionals Recruitment

This service covers the recruitment of Japanese nationals living in Thailand, Japan and other countries around the world and is provided for clients in Thailand. We recruit Japanese nationals, of all levels and functions, with each recruitment assignment requiring its own unique recruitment process which includes, but is not limited to the following sources:

  • Local and international online and newspaper media advertising.
  • Targeted searches within a defined industry sector or position function.
  • Local and international job fairs.
  • Networking and working within our internal database of candidates.

Japanese Translator/ Interpreter Recruitment

PRTR Japanese has a dedicated team focused on the ongoing recruitment of Japanese speaking Thai nationals, specifically for translator and interpreter roles in Thailand. The recruitment strategy varies from our typical methods and focuses on; online advertising, networking, forging partnerships with local Japanese language schools, in addition to ensuring a constant presence at educational job fairs both in Thailand and Japan. The search and selection process includes; a verification of a candidates’ Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) along with a face to face interview by one of our Consultants and a Japanese language communication test by our Japanese recruitment team.

Executive Research Recruitment

PRTR Japanese’ Executive Research Recruitment is designed for clients that are recruiting management level sta­ff, require specific types of candidates from typically narrow vertical markets and require their company name to remain confidential during the search. PRTR Japanese will provide a shortlist of candidates within a 4-week period from the client’s point of authorization.

More recently, Executive Research Recruitment has been used by clients in establishing information relating to their competitor’s capabilities and in doing so, allows our clients to establish business goals and expectations of employee capabilities based on this information. The most common demand we have is to establish for our clients the size potential of a market, which allows our clients to judge their current ability and then locate and attract the most successful candidates from companies in that market.
